Workflow for editing a PDF on Vault Mobile App

Hi

Been trialing the Vault mobile app and while the log in process and accessing info including check out is simple I am struggling with the steps to edit a PDF (add markup) and check in

Is there any help documentation describing these steps? What I have experienced so far seems complicated and not easy to follow

Does editing a PDF require some PDF editing app to be purchased? The info I read so far seems to indicate that PDF;s can be viewed and edited in the app (I can see viewing is but cant see how editing is done with the app)

I did manage to add some markups, but cant seem to get back easily to the checkin command and PDF appears to have a different file name after adding markups

Any info, help would be appreciated

Hi Max,

Marking up a PDF with Vault Mobile is done in the built-in IOS feature on your Apple device.

  1. Find the PDF that you want to markup.
  2. Tap the Share icon in the upper right corner
  3. Once the dialog pops up, tap the Save to Files option.
  4. Select a local space on your device to save the file.
  5. Using the devices Files application, find the PDF and tap it.
  6. IOS will open the PDF in a built-in view with markup options at the bottom.

Once you are done with the Markup, you Share the file to Vault Mobile and select the folder you want to add it to.

Another option is to tap the ellipse button under the file name and tap Send File.

Then tap Markup
