Vault Workgroup 2016 batch print problem on non CAD computers

Hello All,

In non-CAD computers, where only the Vault Workgroup Explorer and DWG TrueView software are installed, we can not batch print directly from DWG files. People working at these positions do not design but print approved drawings for production purposes. An attempt to batch print a DWG file ends with the message "Error: File can not be processed". If the DWF file has been previously published, the batch printing is done. The problem is only when DWF file has not been published for the given DWG file.

On CAD sites where AutoCAD and Inventor are installed, we can batch print directly from DWG files, even if related DWF files are missing.
How to resolve this problem? It is important for us to be able to print directly from DWG files without having to publish DWF files.

Regards,

Fabian

If you are printing native files, DWG or IDW, you will need the native application installed, AutoCAD or Inventor.
