I have a simple Inventor part with multiple assembly files (that use the part) listing on the Uses tab. Going to one of the assemblies and expanding the 340043.ipt part shows the other assemblies. See attached. Why are they there and how do I detach them from the part file.  Using Inventor and Vault Pro 2022.

Open the Part in Inventor.

What do the Model and Vault Browser show?

It's a very simple part extrusion of 1 fully defined sketch. See attached.

I also found the dwf file in thin client shows an assembly instead of the part. This assembly is not one of those listed under 340042 but does use that part.

Check out the part and make a small change to it. Maybe just edit an iProperty, save, undo the edit, save, and then check-in.

What does the part's uses tab show?

Changed state from released to design, opened and checked out. Edited an iProperty, save and check-in. The using tab is now empty. I did get an error during check-in that the 340043.ipt.dwf file exists. See attached.

It sounds like the DWF file is in a different folder then the part file.

The path in the error message is correct for the part. How can I fix it, the file is managed by Vault, I would think it would handle putting the dwf in the correct folder.
