Default View Sharing

Is it possible to share a default view (Name, Created By, Description, Material, and Title for example) within a company so that anyone who accesses the vault will have the same view automatically . This is for people who may only use Vault every once and a while.

there are a couple of options here but it depends on the level of vault that you have, do you have basic? Workgroup or professional?

There is a feature in WG/Pro called shared views which will allow you to share information.

In Profssional you have the thin client, so for internal access it is great to share files with non cad users.

or are you talking about when that user logs in to Vault via the thick client they always see the same information, if so have a look at the app store for something called project thunderdome, or the other option is to create a profile in your Vault client and export it.

We have basic Vault. I exported my Vault settings and I will find a way to get it to people who open the client.
