Check in fails - Files not recognized as the same

Hi everybody,

I need to Check in two assemblies (step files attached).

After check in the 1st Assembly, Vault says the files of 2ndAssembly already exist.

Yes, it is true.

There are the same files in both configurations, but doesn't Inventor understand it?

Any one have you a solution?

While the files already exist, they are in different folders and you have enforce unique file names enabled.

You need to make sure that your assemblies are using the same subcomponents in the same folders.

According to your post, I inserted the Step file in the same folder where were all the other parts, I opened it, I saved it and I checked in successfully!
