When will Autodesk create a plugin for CATI? Any-CAD technology is not enough.

Depends how many people want it.  There is more demand for Creo and SW on the plugin side it seems.  Feel free to add a new ideastation post though or upvote an existing one to see how much traction the community has already generated or how many users would agree with the need.

Vault Idea does not work.

If the top voted idea (PDF Publishing) has ONLY 255 votes since 4 years and the second (Graphical interface for configuring lifecycle states) 193 votes since 2012 and still is "UNDER REVIEW" then this site does not work.

As for the CATIA plug-in, many Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault users work with companies that use CATIA, so it has a single license for this program. Maybe Autodesk will ask all Autodesk Vault users if they need a plugin, especially if Autodesk is developing Any-CAD technology.

The idea of this plug-in (Vault plugin for Catia) is from 2015r, and since 2017 has been changed status to "UNDER REVIEW".

The Ideastation does work as I have personally had two ideas from the Inventor side added to the product.  The fact that it is UNDER REVIEW means they are seriously considering it but there are a lot of factors that go in the decision making process (but they considered it).  They already began the PDF Publishing integration in 2018.  Sometimes they don't fully mark as implemented if it doesn't match the request 100%.  Other ideas take longer to implement because it would change a large part of the software and it can't just be changed without a deep investigation into how customers are using the software currently.

If there isn't a good ROI case for adding a plugin its because the integration is too sloppy, expensive to keep up to date, or not enough demand it may sit in UNDER REVIEW until a case presents itself.  I know of one company in particular that has about 1500 seats of Inventor and uses Catia as well (although not as many seats) and they are not enough for Autodesk to write a plugin primarily the company already worked around the issue with Enovia integrated with Vault.

I would also encourage you to get in on the Autodesk Beta site for Vault and voice your concerns in there as well.

Writing that Idea did not work, I meant that not enough people give votes.

About plugin, I think it is for companies that have a few, a dozen, Inventor licenses, and 1-2 CATIA licenses that want to integrate with Vault, because implementing Enovia and integrating it with Vault is way overpriced.

Currently I have a customer who has 8 Inventor licenses, wants to implemented Vault Professional but has two CATIA licenses, and they do not know what to do with them.

Unfortunately Enovia has a plugin for nventor.

Very true, it does hurt companies with smaller seat counts.  That also goes towards ROI for Autodesk.  Why write it when only 1% or maybe even less of the user base has a need for it.

More people should vote, but they don't.

The Enovia plugin for Inventor is one of the worst plugins I have ever seen.  It constantly crashes Inventor and is always behind Inventor releases sometimes by up to a year and half to a somewhat stable build.  The company I know of that has 1500 seats of Inventor still couldn't get Dassault to produce a good Inventor plugin or get Autodesk to write a Catia plugin.

You would be better off asking about this in the beta site with the developers and product managers.
