Autoloader process

I have successfully installed and configured Vault Basic.

My plan was to use Autoloader to move one current assembly and reference files to the vault at a time.

My goal was to only move currently active work to the vault. This would greatly reduce the search and storage load. Autoloader only allows the selection of an entire directory.

Is there another way to accomplish this goal?

The only idea I have is to pack-n-go each active assembly to a directory for Autoloader.

Thnx

Hello,

Please take a look at Task Scheduler (Inventor tool), individual files (assembly with children) can be checkedin to Vault using 'Check in to Vault' task in Task Scheduler.

May be that can help.

Thank you for your effort to resolve my issue. I tried this approach, but Task Scheduler expects the file to be in a vault already. Autoloader checks all of the referenced files before uploading to vault. I'm going to have to pack-n-go to a vault directory the open and check in from there.

Thank you,

Hello,

Sorry, I did not fully understand what you mentioned 'Task Scheduler expects the file to be in a vault already'.

Please note you need to use the task 'Check in to Vault' for the files which are not yet vaulted and the ones you want in Vault.
