user properties not mapping in new 2020 vault

Upgraded from Vault Pro 2018 to Vault Pro 2020. Created new server, copied over current back up, restored back up, and mapped all 2020 software to the 2020 Vault. Our cad file title block attribute fields were/are mapped to user properties in the Vault. In 2018 we had no issues but in the new 2020 these are not mapping. I have been told by users that if they do a drawing then purge it that the properties will then map. This is not an acceptable workflow. Any ideas on what would cause this or how to fix it?

Inventor part, assembly, IDW files map fine

Autocad Mechanical file only map when "blocks" are purged from drawings.

@JasonMayes Have you installed 2020.1 Update yet?

Inside of AutoCAD, what file version are you saving the files in? 2013 or 2018?

Also, can you give me a screen shot of the mapping?

Can you verify that the title block is set in the ADMS Console for indexing?

Yes, I am wondering if there is some type of priority of the mappings that might be causing the problem.

I see that you have created a support case, I think it would be easier for them to troubleshoot with you them me trying to over the forum.  It is strange that the purge command is necessary or that it actually causes it to get the properties in.

can you verify the following:

check if the folder C:\Program Files\Autodesk\ADMS Professional 2020 \Server\Components contains a file named FilterConfig.xml

If not, I hope you can recover it from your old installation. If so, just copy it over and try the check in again

the contents of the file is something like this

I have compared both xml files and they are identical. Still not sure what is going on with them not mapping until the dwg has been purged. Inventor file properties are mapping fine and once the dwg has been purged it will map.

@JasonMayes  and I have looked into this. It appears that one specific nested block in his drawings is the cause of the failed mapping. We are continuing to investigate this behavior internally. Here is a link you can use to see the progress or status of the investigation:
