Retrieve Item's attachment thin client link in Vault Explorer Extension

Autodesk Vault 2018 Pro gained the ability thru 2018.3.2 update to send a Thin Client link via mail, as mentioned here:

My question is, can this Thin Client link be obtained by API?

We are developing a Vault 2018 Pro Explorer Extension and we need to retrieve a Thin Client link for Item's attachment.
