Data Standard Check-In Dialogue After Initial Save

Is there a way to disable the check-in dialogue that pops up immediately after the initial save of a new file when using Data Standard? When Data Standard is unloaded, this dialogue doesn't pop up.

I want to avoid filling the Vault with stuff that we don't end up using. Quite often we'll change a design before it's even been checked in for the first time and those parts just end up being clutter in Vault.

I know we can just hit cancel when it pops up, but I want to avoid that step entirely as I'm sure people will end up defaulting to just allowing it to check in and then we've got a bunk of junk in the vault.

Currently running Inventor Pro 2019 (no service packs) and Vault Workgroup 2019 (no service packs).

Vault Data Standard. I wasn't sure whether it would be better to ask in Inventor or Vault forum because it's a Vault Add-In run on Inventor.

Hmm...

This is a valid request, however, it should be disable the auto-notifiation somehow, let me check with Vault expert and update later.

Thanks. I've found the Vault Options inside the Vault tab in Inventor, but it doesn't seem to have what I'm looking for.

I've attached 2 screenshots of the options inside the Dialogue Suppression buttons and the Manage Prompts. I've also attached a screencast of what I'm trying to avoid (the check-in box at the end of the video).

I just want to clarify as well that I don't want it to automatically check these things in, I want it to automatically say no to checking them in (or disable the prompt entirely).

Hi,

You could switch off the check-in dialog after initial save by setting ShowCheckInDialog to false

<ShowCheckInDialog>True</ShowCheckInDialog>

in the Invetor.cfg file which can be found at the following location.

(e.g for VDS 2019  C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\Vault 2019\Extensions\DataStandard\CAD\Configuration.)
