To select all/many and assign BOM location

It is time consuming to assign BOM location to individual item separately, specially when an item has more than 20 configurations.

I am in full agreement with Anakala!

The whole idea of this application is to make it easier for us to upload, track, and store data.

I consider the method required to set this data up for our purposes to be laborious.

I know that it could be easier with a few small changes.

Just changing this one aspect can shave days off the set up process!

This is not just a feature request - This effects the productivity of the user.

For example:

If a part model is to be uploaded/registered into Upchain, it roughly takes 5 clicks including search time (15 Seconds) to assign BOM location.

If the same part has 20 configurations(Solidworks), it roughly takes 20 x 5 = 100 clicks (5 Minutes) to assign BOM location.

This is just an example for one part. Since we have large assemblies & also hundreds of assemblies, the work which can be done in 1 month will need more than 8 months.

If this feature is provided to select all/many and assign BOM location then the time required will be reduced significantly.

Even I have started uploading data to Upchain and I am facing the same issue.
