IRs search option

We created a naming convention PART_NAME-XX for all our tasks including RMs and project tasks which are searchable using PART_NAME. This search will bring all the activities (RMs TASKs. NO IRs) linked to the item on a single screen. However, IRs do not follow the same search protocols. Can you guys add IRs to the same protocols as RMs and general Tasks?

Could you provide more insight into how your company utilises RMs and Project tasks? I believe the statement "This search will display all the activities (RMs TASKs. NO IRs) linked to the item on a single screen" is referring to the Quick Search feature.

It is referring to Quick Search. However, There is not option at all to search for IRs.

I created an MR, a Project task, and an IR. The IR is missing from the activity result. 

We want to track all the activities linked to an item, so all stakeholders know about the different processes linked to the item in a single screen. From the engineering point of view, IRs are the more important tasks and there is no way to identify what IRs are related to the item besides going into the item and checking for linked activities.
