Right now when you use the quick search in the CAD plugin, all revisions of the parent item appear correctly. However when you expand an older revision parent, the plugin displays the 'latest working' children, even if those 'future versions' did not exist when the parent was released. It would be much more intuitive if released item versions in the Quick Search displayed their 'As Released' child BOM tree, and only development item parents showed the 'latest working' or 'as saved' child BOM tree.
