Allow items to change cost info once a released item is revised

Once an item is released and gets a cost value assigned to Actual cost, we can revise the item in Upchain but the cost value is locked if the item is in same division project. If the Development version of item is copied to another division's project, the cost value turns to Estimated and can be changed. 

What we are asking for here is allow the users to change the cost in the original Project too, when the Released item is revised to a Development version.

Hi @sa_george,

could you please give us more information about your process? Once released item is revised and in same division's project, you can update Actual Cost over web services. There is a specific difference between Actual and Estimated since Estimated is not considered 'confirmed' or 'true' cost of an item. Why would you consider Estimated Cost to be more precise on a new item version, for a specific division?
