Thanks for the implementation of search by supplier name. It is very useful.
Could we also have supplier number be a searchable field or at least a column in the search results so someone from the operations team could pull a report?
Do you have any updates on this request. We have 2 different use cases for this.
1. Operations team needs to search by supplier part number for ordering and managing qty.
2. HW team needs to create a list of part numbers that we source from a supplier. e.g. we want to search for "ABC" supplier name and get all the parts that are supplied from this supplier alongwith their supplier part numbers.
Currently we can search for "ABC" supplier and get the list of parts but to get the supplier part numbers we have to click each item individually. The export results from the search window does not include that information either.
Another option is to allow the export results option in the search results to have a custom report functionality which could export all relevant item details that the user wants.
Do you have any updates on this? This issue keeps coming up almost every month for the operations team as they deal with supplier part numbers. Even an api call solution would be a good temporary solution if there are other issues impacting deploying it to the UI. I would think other customers would also benefit a lot from this.
