hi @nir_arad_79 ,

Great question. We currently do not have a list of devices published. However, we do have a new beta opportunity, Tandem Connect, that you can join now and then as one of the first to be notified when it is released. Click here to join.

Additionally, below are some additional resources for you to get started with if you have not already reviewed them:

I hope that helps!

Jessica hi.

my client remarks.

as a consumer i think it would be better if you will have a list of worldwide sensors instrument devices that can talk with tandem azure and maybe recommended by your team.

they could be all made american  or from somewhere else. but if you want tandem to succeed it should be simple to understand .call it simple :"tandem starter 5 sensors box"

for the 1st model we need to have a simple temparture sensor so maybe get in touch with shops who can sell this or you as autodesk will sell 5 chip temparture devices .it will help the costumer to connect the idea of tandem.

After they will purchase and connect they will try a more complicated projects.

also you can in that money you pay for the sensors to add little more for microsoft azure iot hub 6 month subscription mode

call it simple :"tandem starter 5 sensors box+azure "

microsoft will be happy and you will add more users.

Hi @nir_arad_79

Thanks for that great feedback. A list of recommended sensors that work with Tandem is something that we are interested in providing. We expect this list to consist of vetted vendors that we know can easily connect with the product; a “plug-and-play” approach is what we are hoping for. We started with a very generic process to accommodate multiple data sources from various vendors because existing buildings have such a wide variety of sensors already integrated that no two buildings are the same.

The Tandem Connect beta, which you can join by clicking here, is the advancement of the Reekoh acquisition, is the basis of what you have described and addresses this very need. Reekoh was an integration cloud provider for connecting the physical and digital worlds. In essence, they ensure access to the correct data, in the right format, to the right people at the right time - which today, can all be accomplished by Tandem Connect. If interested, you can learn more about the acquisition here.

Thanks!

Jessica. I found myself searching for sensors in Google in Amazon in Alibaba and on AliExpress. After some hours I asked my self why m I so hardly try. Why is it so hard to find.. I'm a staburn man but it's hard task .

Find the right sensor.for first try is hard task. It should consist battery wifi and sensor.must be chip. With esp32 or plug and play.

This issue is hurdle must of your Autodesk client don't know azure don't know to talk with esp32.

The sensor list should be somewhere. The tandem solution is made me interest mainly because of the sensor compatibility.

From our perspective, the IoT space, or sensor space in general, is very broad and provides value in a lot of different scenarios within the context of a building. I think the right question to start with is 'what is the purpose of the of measuring some set of data?' These reasons could include things like improving occupant comfort, improving carbon footprint, responding quicker to issues, increasing security, etc. Given there are so many different use cases, we have a general approach for receiving streaming data. In the case that you are simply looking for measuring air quality and comfort, I'd suggest Air Things or Disruptive Technologies. I've personally used both and they are simple to set up and simple to feed to Tandem. If you are looking for measuring other systems, we are happy to provide additional feedback for IoT devices we've worked with or others customers have recommended.
