Is it applicable to inject the streaming connection with old or historical data to shown in the chart of the connection ?
I am using fake IoT and I am streaming my data to Azure and I have established successfully the connection and everything is going well. However I am trying to add old data with old dates a week before but the data is being recorded as a new ones.
Is there any way to do so or that's not the case for the current version by any way not just azure
Just asking to not waste time exploring other methods.
Hi @dido32511 ,
Yes, this is absolutely possible. Below is a list of resources that discuss Streams and getting started with this feature.
After reviewing these resources, let me know if you have any questions and if you need clarification on any of the steps.
Thank you for your reply and the provided information.
I already created IoT Devices and managed to connect through Azure IoT HUB , Node.js but the problem is with the timestamp, it seems that all records are dated with the current date.
For example : If I have a pump that has been working since 2 years an I have those data , how to put them with that date of 2022 is that possible within Tandem.
I know the maximum is two week for free subscription but can I even send data to streams with old date as a principle and show it on charts ?
@dido32511, gotcha. The Streams Highlight – Supported Timestamp Formats forum post discusses timestamps support by Tandem.
Please remember that time series data is limited to 14 days if your account is free. Visit our pricing page for more info and being able to view that data outside of that timeframe is not possible.
