Augmented Reality (AR) isn't anything new but the ways it can be expanded in conjunction with Mixed Reality (MR) and Virtual Reality (VR) are only going to increase. From collaboration during the planning phase, where you can visualize the project before the ground has even broken to underground construction where piping and cable routes can be traced. One area I think will be of particular interest will be training as the blend of reality with the digital would allow for notes and instructions to be overlayed to the potential of real-time hazard warning utilizing machine learning.
6 Ways To Upskill a Hybrid Manufacturing Workforce

Whilst most of here will be students, just because you graduate doesn't mean the learning stops. Continuous learning and development are going to be key, as we adapt to the pandemic and the changes ahead, to make sure we stay relevant in the industry. Many menial and repetitive tasks are now easily sent to computers, which allows us to focus on the more important things that a computer cannot yet decide for itself. After all, garbage in means you'll get garbage out, so learning how to define your inputs to get the best outputs is crucial. The same goes for teamwork, for when everyone is on the same page and communicates effectively more can be achieved.
That's all for this week,
Have a good one!
