It looks like Stingray is failing to connect properly. Do you have any firewalls in place on your PC? If so, could you make sure the following are allowed all TCP and UDP connections:

Thanks @joshua.racz. I reformatted yesterday. Been needing to do this for a while now. I have firewall disabled now. Once I get it reinstalled I'll post back.
Fresh, clean Windows and Stingray install. All firewalls are off and I'm getting the same thing.

We have just released our latest version of Stingray (1.7.1177.0) yesterday afternoon. It has some fixes that may pertain to your issue you are having. Could you try running this version to see if it works for you, and provide any logs if it doesn't?

I spoke with my colleagues on the matter and they mentioned the socket is not being created due to something that is blocking the port, thus preventing things from working. Could you attach the latest Stingray logs? They should be located at C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Local\Autodesk\Stingray\Logs. You should be able to attach them to your post. It should be able to provide some more data about what is happening.

Hi.
Test the ports listed.
First open Stingray
in a windows command prompt; run:
telnet localhost 12010
Try the other ports also
You should get a flashing cursor and not: "Could not open connection to the host"
If telnet is not recognized, please enable it in your system> Google that.
Read below...
We checked on a few machines on
14032.. it did function. (You should just get a blinking cursor)
1 Be certain that Stingray is open when testing 'telnet'
2 Speak to IT. Despite you turning off the firewall, the ports are not open.
I've seen this many times.
Everything is AOK from the server as well. I'm going to try a smaller area with less detail to see if I continue getting this error. Stay tuned...
I guess it was just the complexity of the fbx file I was using before. I used a smaller area with less detail and it came in fine. Thanks for all the help guys.
