Softimage Render Region tool is not operating properly

Hello,

I have tried to study the control options for the Render Region tool but I've continually failed to get a good result.

The renders are grossly distorted in detail, value, and color.

I believe it must be a matter of the settings because it has worked in the past.

I would like to send a screenshot but currently the tool is not rendering anything at all.

Please help.

Generally the Render Region tool has a sidebar at the edge of the render region that you can use to toggle different quality values.

At the mid right edge, there is a small yellow box that expands and gives you a slider on mouse over, move it up and the quality shall increase to 100%. It has the scale mainly for previz.

This will up your render region value - if not, go into it's options and modify it's render settings (typical of a third party renderer)
