Failure to load scene

I've seen this before and been desparately searching for a solution amongst the many forum posts. Alas, I have tried all and not found a solution that works.

Error: "Failure to load scene before system failure" on system startup. Softimage immediately crashes.

Things that I have tried (please read before commenting😞

Uninstalling Quick time-Nothing changed.

Changing my graphics card driver back to earlier versions-Nothing changed.

Uninstalling Softimage-Nothing changed.

Reinstalling Softimage- Nothing changed.

Trying different versions, 2012, 2013, 2013 SP1, 2014. -It's fine for a day or two and then returns to error.

Runbat.exe - command errors include netshfirewall. Says crosswalkxxxx.dll is missing.

Installing crosswalkxxxx.dll- nothing changed.

Disabling windows firewall completely -nothing changed.

Run registy cleaners- reports that the crosswalkxxxx.dll file is a bust. It wants to delete it.

I do not have McAffee on my computer.

That's it for what I've done so far. I've heard about there being a safe mode for startup, I'd like to find out more about that.

Other than that, I'm completely at my wit's end. Thank you for your time.

your scene just might be corrupted and unrecoverable.

For "runonce.bat", you seem to have done it wrong. You need to run the command prompt As Adminitrator, otherwise you will get these errors.

Do not run registry cleaners, they will break your softimage install completely.  You will need to reinstall including Crowsswalk, just to be sure

It isn't the scene. I uninstalled all versions and completely reinstalled one. It gave the same error brand new without opening a single scene.

sorry I did not understand that this a crash on startup.

you've done the normal troubleshooting, but there may be a few more things to try
