"Failed to Open Image" on multiple different sketches

I have about 5 different sketches as I just started using Autodesk Sketchbook a few weeks ago. Almost all my sketches say "Failed to Open Image." Here are the factors:

-I always save my sketch before I close.

-All the images that won't open have had an imported image from my gallery

-When I look in my phone's files (internal storage>autodesk>sketchbook3) the .tiff files of the corrupt sketches don't appear, even though I never deleted them.

-Even using the "Save As" strategy, most of my drawings still get like this.

Any help is much appreciated. 🙂

I have seen this error a couple of times and I am uncertain of exact cause.   I would save 'versions' of a file to make sure you don't lose your progress.  See:  step 7 noted here:

I've also been having this problem using Autodesk app on my own android phone. I'm currently using version 5.2.3 of the app and whenever I try to upload a picture I saved in the gallery to work on it also gives me the Opps Fail to open image message. I also always save before closing the app or working on a new image and they are still saved in my phoes picture gallery, but whenever I try to load a wip or edit an older image to edit it I get the same notification. I also tried the tips suggested, but they don't seem to work.

Try this:

Go to the section:

How to import SketchBook (.TIF) files into SketchBook for Android
