Help! I just got a new 13" Mac Book Pro M1 silicon chip. It's connected to a Wacom Cintiq 22HD. I use the latest SketchBook 8.7.1. It does not seem to be compatible. Not sure if it's the M1 chip ,Big Sur or the Wacom tablet.
I cant' calibrate and the lagoon is distorted, basically useless. I know someone else who have to downgrade back to Catalina in order to use SB. The new macs you can't downgrade. I talked to Wacom, they're coming out with an update in February. Anybody have this problem?
At this time, we are testing M1 Mini with SketchBook. We are using SketchBook under "Rosetta2" 2 mode. In the Activity Monitor, it is running as Intel mode. For the Apple M1 processors, there isn't a way to go back to Catalina.
Any updates to this problem? My mac M1 is still unusable with Sketchbook, no calibration, enlarged lagoon and puck. I can't believe no other mac m1 owner does not have this problem.
Hi there @david.lau,
Massive Sketchbook user here. I'm writing as I need to buy a new Mac and not sure whether to go M1 chip or not. Can you please tell me how far away an update for Apple Silicone/M1 chip is? Even just a rough indication - weeks? Months? If it's a while, I may need to get an Intel model you see.
Thanks in advance for your advice David,
Steve
I would hold off on M1 and Intel based computers just a bit longer. With the impending updates from Apple, it might be worth it in the next update as well.
I suspect there will be NEW hardware with Mac OS Monterey.

Thanks for your reply David,
I'll see if I can wait. I guess it would make sense for you guys to wait until you can test on Monterey to release an update for Apple Silicon...
Thanks again,
stephen
