Best Steps for Highest-Quality Printing

To Whom It May Concern:

Apologies if this has already been covered: I created a piece (please see the original enclosed below) for a friend using Sketchbook Pro  Mobile v2.9.5 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S (please see below). I also used the 1080p Canvas setting. Upon sending this to a print shop, they converted it to CMYK (since Sketchbook Pro Mobile v2.9.5 is in RGB), and when I got the printout, it came out darker and slightly blurry. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture of the printout. What steps do I need to undertake to insure the highest-quality printout using the aforementioned? AND is there a version which is in the CMYK color profile? Looking forward to hearing back. Thanks.

Resolution:  Typically, if  I you are going to print, it should be 300 PPI/DPI.     Please review the following:

Once you have sketched at 1080 (size) x ????, it is still going to be 72 DPI so it will be blurry.

Color:  That is a hard question to answer because even though you have converted RGB to CMYK, there are issues with your screen color calibration as well as color calibration when printing.

For the Superman sketch you may need to use the color picker to confirm that the RGB values for the blue are the 'same'.

Thank You; However, when I clicked on those first 3 links, I got an error saying they were forbidden.

So, long story short, after I use my high-quality setting in the sketch stage, I should convert it to the suggested DPI before printing, correct?

You need to re-draw it at 300 dpi or the equivalent resolution.  Please try the links again later, we are in the process of fixing permissions of the 'help" documentation.
