Saved Views - Exporting Screenshots for Reports

Saved Views - Exporting Screenshots for Reports

It would be a real time saver if Simulation had the ability to save views, kind of like how the current Presentations work.

The workflow would be as follows.

1. Orientate your model to suite the report image you'd like to capture

2.  Select the type of result you want (Stress, Displacement, ect)

3. Select the Annotations, Axis Indicator, Legend, and adjust their relative scale.

4. Select the size of the image you'd like to export.

Once these were setup and saved in the results tab, it would be a one click operations to export all of the saved views to a desired folder.

This would allow for a user to change the model, run the analysis, and export all the needed screen shots in one click. Then updating the report would be as easy as refreshing the image sources.

Currently we have to retake every screen shot our reports use manually everytime there is a change to the model. There can be up to 10+ screen shots for 15+ Design Scenarios.

are you familiar with "user-defined view" command? Here is the link for the section of help that explains this functionality http://help.autodesk.com/cloudhelp/2014/ENU/SimMech/files/GUID-1B7B34A7-0B4E-4A36-8A3E-F1B00E4A2556....
