Fusion 360 Native File Support

Fusion 360 Native File Support

I'd like native/associative file support between Autodesk Simulation Mechanical and Fusion 360.  I'd like to see access in SimMech to Fusion 360 files I may have stored in my cloud folders.  I'd also like to open Fusion 360 files (.f3d) that I may have stored on my pc.  The growing simulation capabilities in Fusion 360 are great but there will always be a need for running the more advanced analyses available within Simulation Mechanical.

Currently, I have to export Fusion 360 files to STEP/IGS/etc and then import into SimMech.  That works, but no better than my Solidworks-to-SimMech workflow.  Actually, from Solidworks, I do have associativity in some model types.  So, my Solidworks-SimMech workflow is a little better than my F360-SimMech workflow.

Just seems that Autodesk product Simulation Mechanical ought to be able to open native Autodesk product Fusion 360 files.
