Fatigue Webinars/Courses

Please tell me, will there be or is it planned to be any Webinars or Courses with example jobs for Fatigue design utilization in Simulation Mechanical, for steel structures?

Hi Mickey,

I don't believe we have any planned for Simulation Mechanical, however we do plan to do one in May for Nastran In-CAD.

@Andrew.Sartorelli thanks for prompt answer.

Could you please emphasize why it will be performed for Nastran and not for Simulation itself? What is the driving force and should end user be aware that fatigue is not recommended under Simulation Mechanical software?

I would like to avoid drawing wrong conclusions, hence please clarify.

Hi Mickey,

It has nothing to do with the accuracy of Simulation Mechanical. We've found a number of our Nastran In-CAD customers are interested in using the fatigue analysis component of that package. The content for Nastran In-CAD on this topic is not nearly as in depth as Simulation Mechanical. The Nastran In-CAD and Simulation Mechanical webinars series are separate, although performed by the same team. So it certainly doesn't exclude doing a webinar on this with Simulation Mechanical, it is just that we don't have one planned at the moment. I'll see what the schedule looks like, but I think we tentatively have topics selected out until June or July at the moment, and we usually skip August due to summer holidays. So the earliest we could add the topic is either July or September.

Regards,
Andrew
