Dear Simulation Mechanical users!
I’m very happy to announce that the Autodesk Simulation Mechanical 2016 product is live and available for download. This is a very exciting release year for us. With the 2016 release, we are rolling out several big changes to the software.
The 2016 release provides significant improvements in the following four categories
1) CAD Preparation for simulation
2) Advanced Nastran® support
3) Performance improvements, and
4) Usability Enhancements
Most of our Usability and Performance improvements came from direct feedback we received from you on our IdeaStation page (http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/simulation-mechanical/idb-p/81)
For a high level overview of the 2016 release as well as deep dive video demonstrations on individual features, you can follow the link to the SimTV (http://simhub.autodesk.com/tv) and search for “Simulation Mechanical 2016”
Note: We will continue to upload more videos to this page so make sure to visit SIMTV often.
We also released our first, fully integrated, free App for Simulation Mechanical 2016 on the Autodesk App store. You can download Version 1 of this App to gain even more functionality from the following link (Supplemental Result Support for SimMech 2016)
Note: We will continue to upgrade this App throughout the year so make sure to re-visit the App store to download all updates.
