Dear Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis Team,
I am writing to respectfully request the integration of Algerian national design codes, particularly the updated RPA 2024 (Règles Parasismiques Algériennes) and related national standards (DTU and CBA), into Autodesk Robot Structural Analysis.
These codes form the foundation for structural design and seismic safety in Algeria. With the recent update of the seismic design regulations under RPA 2024, it has become essential for structural engineers working in Algeria to have access to tools that support and comply with the current legal and technical framework.
We propose the inclusion of the following key standards:
Seismic Design Code:
Complementary National Standards:
DTU (Documents Techniques Unifiés) relevant to concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures.
CBA (Code de Béton Armé Algérien): Algerian reinforced concrete design code.
National standards for wind and snow loads, as well as material classifications used in Algerian construction practice.
Integrating these standards into Robot Structural Analysis would:
Ensure compliance with Algerian regulations.
Support engineers in their daily practice and project delivery.
Promote the use of Robot Structural Analysis in both industry and academia across Algeria.
This integration aligns with Autodesk’s commitment to supporting local design codes and expanding its global footprint by empowering professionals to work with tools adapted to their regional contexts.
Thank you for your attention and consideration. I look forward to your support in making Robot Structural Analysis more accessible and applicable for structural engineers in Algeria.
Sincerely,
