Good evening,   We are in desparate need of good demonstration vidoes for the current version of Robot.  Make no mistake, the lack of videos is costing not only time but valuable fees.  We sometimes forget that whilst it may be fun using a piece of software, for many/most users the ultimate aim is to design something and get it built.  We unfortunately do not have unlimited time and money to spend trying to work out how to use a piece of software.   I am aware that product supprot prepare short videos to answer specific questions.  Where are these videos?  Where is the library that I can go to and scroll through previous videos?   I am spending hours trying to get certain functions to work with no success.   Thank you   Chris Show More

I just thought of an idea for an add-in or other type of calculation that could be implemented in ARSA.   When dealing with irregular buildings, the engineer is challenged to design a system that has translational vibration in the first modes. This means zero or near zero eccentricity e0x and e0y. The idea is to implement an iterative solution which can propose location, length and thickness of additional walls (or columns) to be added to the initial configuration. This addition shall impose zero or near zero eccentricity e0x and e0y.   I did that in a spreadsheet for a simple building by calculating the CM and CR for the original configuration. Then I updated the calculation by introducing new wall which gives zero e0x and e0y by simple Goal Seek option in Excel.   I guess this idea could be easily implemented in ARSA. What do you think? Hi, When we define the automatic detection of bracings in steel elements, for the definition of the buckling lengths between braces, the inactive bars should have no influence, as they are only modeling aids.   That is, when the option "At points where adjoing elements are located" is active. inactive bars should not enter this atomic detection.   See image below.     Thanks.. It's bad that Robot doesn't have an option to display diagram of requred shear reinforcement area (stirrups) in RC beams and columns. Wygląda to tak, że firma nie rozwija programu tylko robi kosmetyczne zmiany. Cała Europa projektuje duże ilości konstrukcji aluminiowych według EN 1999 i wtedy pozostaje nieoceniony DLUBAL i program SCIA. Norma EN 1999 jest podobna do normy EN 1993 dlatego nie widzę problemu żeby używać przynajmniej części prostych konstrukcji jak w przypadku norm stalowych.
