First I would like to say that the way we can model the structures is amazing! However, there is a problem that gives a lot of headache. This problem is linked to the detailing of the reinforcements and their editing... not intuitive like other software like TQS, CYPECAD, EBERICK, etc. Other software offers simpler ways to edit reinforcement and observe the behavior of the structure in the face of changes made by the user. Soon I must say that the visualization of the projects and the reinforcement in the slabs, are horrible, therefore, the user is forced to take the results obtained in ROBOT to detail in REVIT or in other software. This worries me, knowing that Autodesk is a benchmark in the software market for making projects, as this delays projects.

Offsets have to be replaced with another option in which rigid links will be automatically defined in proper locations, because the way that they are used right now in Robot is not convenient at all and it is causes many simulation problems... Especially in RC structures, where it is immediate to consider non "centerlined" connections between members, Robot has to be improved about this issue.

A general update in push over analysis should take place. There are several issues that must be resolved in order this type of analysis to be completed in Robot. Some of these are already posted, for instance the following links: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Robot-Structural/Capacity-curve/td-p/3651586 http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Robot-Structural/Frustrating-plastic-hinges/m-p/3649112/highlight/true#M8097 ..and many others like the ability to set a starting case (usually containing dead and live loads) before the push over analysis e.t.c (I think that some of them are already posted as SR in Subscription Center).

It is very hard sometimes to work with the Robot windows such as: windows for cross sectional properties or types of members. They are very small and when you have a lot of cross sections it is hard to go from one column to another and read through all of them. Also the bar properties window is very hard to read, when you try to select the expand some of the preperties you can't eve read the full name of the cross sections or the types you created, and you have to go long ways to find out what the property is, through some other tables and views. These are just some examples, Robot is a nice software, but I think that generally the interface is not very user-friendly. It would be great if you could fix these problems, it would speed up the design process a lot. You can see the examples I talked about in the pictures below. . Thanks.

its a nice object if there have a template for mat foundations as it have for RC elements as its have in Safe program

For uniform loads in a contour or planer loads 3 point on a contour, allow an existing contour to be selected as the region.

Rather than create a new region in a panel for a planer support allow it to be assigned to a contour similar to the way loads work. This will help integration with Excel.

In the object inspector make contours a major group heading then have subgroups for each contour type (ie. Panels, openings, cladding, load region, support region, etc). Contours are used in many ways in Robot however there is no single point to manage them. This will help integration with Excel

When we select a node by indicating its number, it is marked with a green color spot in the structure but if the structure is a little more than simlpe it's difficult for the user to see where it is... It should be marked by a different (more clear) way, for instance the node could be enclosed in a small circle in order to be visible.

Sometimes our models could have several nodal loads that are tedious to delete one by one if we need to make changes to the model. We should be able to select them with a capture windows or using (Ctr) and then delete them at once.

One limitation of Robot nowadays is that only provides reinforcement for slabs as uniform thickness. There should exist the ability to design one-way, two-way and steel profile slabs. A better representation for slabs drawings is needed too.

Stories Tables : 1.reduced forces should be given either, by each storie, and cumulative from stories above (same as displacement). these effort to be given at the bottom of the storie. Loads : 1.Copying storie from a level to another shoud copy all element belonging to it, especially loads affected to its elements , regardless the way it was defined ( loads on contour , linear loads …) 2.indicating the value of load when draging the mouse over. Export to RC design : 1.Names assigned manually to elements in RSA should be retrieved when exported to correspondant RC design. 2.adding preference of soil definition and optimisation pattern to be applicated to set of Foundation at once

This feature needed because once I calculated wind loads with a wind simulation, I do not need claddings in 3d view but when I hide the panels all the slabs and claddings are affected too. I just want to hide claddings like on the Tekla Structural Designer. I can hide wall panels separately on TSD but cannot do similar thing in Robot.

Please implement the AISC 360-10 code for steel connections. Since 2014 I have been using ROBOT and you have not yet included this code. Other software has had it for a long time. The AISC 360-10 code is widely used in Latin America.
