Hi everyone.
I'm designing a rectangular steel tank with RSA in accordance to AISC (or EC), client ask me a verification against vibration due to dynamic load of a mixer on the top of the tank.
This mixer is mounted on 2 shape welded on the top of the tank. It rotate in velocity range of 17-87 rpm generating dynamic force and moments about of 50 kg / 30 kgm.
I found a lot of material and codes on footfall but not on cases of little concentrated dynamic load on structure.
Can someone help me?
Many thank to who can/want helps me

This effect can be simulated using time history analysis. Nice example here
Simplified solution using harmonic analysis can be used as well
thank you for your reply, the problem is that I have no idea what with I have to confront the obtained results.
do you have anys suggests?
do you know any codes for this kind of analysis?
Dynamic loads results in internal forces distribution. Extremal force values can be used for design. There are some rules for dynamic actions in Eurocode 1 - Actions on structures - Part 3: Actions induced by
cranes and machinery EN 1991-3
