Stress analysis in section definition

Hi,

I've modified a section from the database and performed stress analysis. It looks like the flanges do not participate in resisting the moment and it all stays in the web. Can someone explain if this is right?

In your case there is only a moment around the "z" axis, so the neutral zone is at the center of the web and there is compression on the left side of the flanges e tension on the right.

You are looking at the diagrams for the cross section through the center of the web at the level of the middle of the section. Try to move it left or right or up /down (to the level of the either flange).
