Hello everyone,

i am a new user for Autodesk Robot STR, i was following this tutorial :

https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/robot-structural-analysis-products/learn-explore/caas/CloudHe...

i did exactly the same steps, but i still cannot select the "Snow/Winds Loads 2D/3D Option" as attached.

am i missing something since i am using the newest 2016 version which is not same as tutorial ?

Any suggestion ?

 Thank you 🙂

you should select frame 2D structure type.

I think you made a mistake because this is the link of this conversation here.

Could you answer me if the option wind/load 2D/3D has been defined for the eurocode because It is working for the NV65 but not for NFEN code??

I am modeling under eurocode regulation, when chosing NV65, results are wrong for me.

thank you

There is no such option for 3D models
You have to start from 2D frame

Rafal,

I'm coming back to you because the generation of wind load in 2D frame are wrong in my model, the cutting zone of wind distribution are not good (but the coefficient and loads are ok)

the automatic defintion of the envelop for the generation is not good (refer to capture), I do something which is not good but I do not know how to correct it.

could you help me again?

thank you

????????
This is not 2D model.
Model must be 2D in ZX plane at Y=0 and Structure Type must be Frame 2D
