RSA2020 does not start

Dear support team,

 

I've installed two days ago RSA2020, but after completed the installation and restarted the workstation, RSA do not start.

 

I can se only the starting picture, and then nothing. I tried also to run the software as admin, but nothing change!!!

 

Some advise in this issue?

We have just identified a problem with Single-User license in Robot Structural Analysis 2020 release.

It results in crash on the program start reported in ucrtbase.dll.  I apologize for this inconvenience. 

We are actively investigating this issue and we will provide a fix for the problem as soon as possible.

I've uninstalled it, then I've installed RSA2019 again, but that versión doesn't work also…  

I have to finish and deliver some Jobs... what should I do?

Well, I also have the same issue with "ucrtbase.dll" file and cannot launch the software. That's why I'm still using 2019.

 

I've made some extra research on the internet about the dll file but those methods described in the some forums, topics etc. doesn't work. So, we have to wait for Autodesk to fix it.

 

I've even tried to installing Windows 10 SDK (some says it will fix) but nothing worked for me. My PC has those C++ Redistributable packages, Win10 SDKs and even Visual Studio as well but nothing works for me.

 

It happened after putting license information and than splash screen disappeared. After that, I kept getting "ucrtbase.dll" issue. So if you're going to try something as a workaround I've just tried some but no luck.

 

Is there any news for this? @okapawal

I only see the initial screen for RSA2020 and then It closed, nothing else. No dll message.

We have just released RSA 2020.0.1 Hot Fix 1  which addresses this isssue.

It is available through Autodesk Desktop Application and Autodesk Accounts.

 

This hotfix addresses a major issue in which Robot Structural Analysis 2020 will not run or will crash on program start. This issue applies to some Single-User subscription license users.

 

Please find more details in the attached Readme file.

My RSA2020 its all ok now after installing "Robot Structural Analysis Professional 2020.0.1 HotFix 64-Bit "

I works fine for me as well.

 

I have uninstalled it after splash screen crash issue but now re-installed from the desktop app and there was no update. Seems to be included in the setup.

I'M HAVING THE SAME ISSUE..! I'VE INSTALLED RSA2020 STUDENT LICENSE AND CANNOT START THE PROGRAM. ONLY THE STARTING WINDOW IS APPEARING....!

Hello,

 

I purchased RSA2019 last year and used it successfully for several months. I now downloaded the 2020 trial version to see what is new but the software won't launch. I see the welcome screen but it doesn't go further than that. Can you please advise?

When you go to your Account and find Robot Structural Analysis product in AEC collection, unfold the product information and click Updates & Add-Ons, you should see all the Update listed.   See the screenshot

This happens to me on all the versions. From 2020 to the latest. My license is the subscription license. 😕

And I have a project on the rush which was made by RSAP 2020 with network license before. 

Eversince the network license has been expired, we were compelled to go the subscription route. But now, this happens.

What now Autodesk? Been doing all your "tips" to make the product work. Installed all the updates.
