Hello, I want to know why this model shows Error 100

Building: 39 floors

 https://drive.google.com/file/d/1fn5bE6u645R5EKYn4z7g6DJgsvAyJSc_/view?usp=sharing

Why doesn't the program show "reduced forces" results for the SX spectral case?

Thank you.

Hi @bartolome.tavera

Open the model using "Repair Mode" it solves the error 100 issue

It looks like there are the reduced forces, mostly FX, for SX spectral case.

Hi @okapawal,

Can you please help me in one question?

When we perform a spectral analysis, Robot has the possibility of specify the acidental eccentricity. In a seismic analysis, in some codes too. But on other codes like NP EN 1998-1:2013 (Portugal EC8) Robot simply doesn't have that option. Do you have any idea why and how to solve it?

Thanks!

Hi @manuel.gomes

Sorry, it is our oversight.

We have implemented seismic analysis according to  NP EN 1998-1:2013, but eccentricity is missed in this design code.

Are you able to use EC8 General seismic code instead?

Hi Waldemar Okapa @okapawal,

ITank you for the fast answer.

In fact, if i use the seismic analysis EN1998-1:2004/A1:2013-General, and introduce manually the spectrum parameters, it works and the results seems correct, and we can introduce the seismic eccentricity.

However, in this way, the NP EN1998-1:2010/A1:2013 introduced in Robot in 2023 version, since it does not allow to introduce eccentricity, which is mandatory by the code, becomes obsolete.

Kind Regards,

Manuel Gomes

Bonjour, je veux comprendre l'utilité du module descente de charge (nouveauté Robot 2023),et s'il est applicable pour l'étude d'une charpente métallique, car à mon avis il est développé pour les structures en béton armé !!!!
