I'm pleased that the reinforcement shift after element update is addressed - - a problem I highlighted recently 😊

"Corrected the calculation of crack width for slabs according to EN 1992-1-1." I think this deserves some more explanation. Without any other context, I can't tell if the crack width calculation was previously COMPLETELY wrong, or just a minor tweak to a unique condition.

This issue concerns the calculation of reinforcement density ρp,eff for tension elements in some conditions.

See detailed description in the attached document.

Thanks

I tested the update on a high resolution display, and it seems more fixes and more debugging still needs to be done. I found bugs like:

  • Screen flickering to black while creating beams/columns on plan view and dragging it (and rule numbers becoming a mess).
  • The projections in the three planes (XY, XZ, YZ) are not properly seen when creating beams/columns in the perspective view.

NOTE: If the screen resolution was decreased, these bugs disappeared.

Me and few other colleagues are having issues with Robot 2019 and 2020 being both installed on the system. 2019 is running fine and has all updates installed. If 2020 is installed without 2020.1 update, everything seem to work OK when switching from 2019 to 2020 version and vice versa. However once 2020.1 update is installed, regardless of which version is started, there appears to be conflict between two versions.

I have attached screenshot where starting 2019 version required component registration which then went for a long time starting 2020 installation. This process is never successful and if terminated then version 2020 becomes uninstalled.

Sounds complicated, but hopefully makes sense.

Any suggestions how to overcome this would be greatly appreciated.

Kind Regards

What's this erroneous SLS report problem? I wasn't aware of it. Can you point me to some post explaining the problem? (I'm very interested, because I'll be doing steel calculations in the next months, so I'd like to be aware of any known problem). Thanks!

In the next update can you please consider implementing a shared parameter(id) such that it will be unique in between Revit and Robot and could be reached out via API.
