Robot keeps crashing when I attempt to import the DXF file with section shape

For some reason, Robot keeps crashing when I attempt to import the DXF file. Is there a certain file size limit that it can take? I wouldn't say it's the most complex of shapes but not simple either.

I have simplified the section, but now when I import the file, there is no geometry shown in Robot.

Hi @Anonymous

I'm not able to open this dxf in AutoCAD. How did you create it? Do you have its dwg version?

Not sure what happened.

Here's the file again, and the DWG as well.

Also is there a file size limit? I have a file that seems to be too big. The dxf file is 1500 kb

I notice also that you've created quite small file sizes. How have you reduced your DWG to just 41kb?

Hi @Anonymous

You can clean up your DWG files in 3 steps:

1. PURGE command (use the "Purge all" option

2. AUDIT command

3. -PURGE commmand - this one gives you prompts in the command line, please type "R" for "Regapps" and purge those - in the last DWG there were quite a few registered applications, which may cause problems as they acumulate with time

Hope that helps!
