RENAME GROUP

Hi!

In model, I create a group with a default name, and I change the default name in to new name "DAM MONG", but the program notifies that the group with the name specified already exists, while there isn't any group with name "DAM MONG" exists in my model.

Thanks!

Hi @petite24021989 ,

Open the table Group of Objects and you will see all of your groups:

As you can see the group with the name DAM MONG already exists. You can either delete this group or modify the list of objects. Also, you can quickly check if the group is exist by pressing the Bar Selection combo box:

The bottom line is that empty groups are not shown in the Object Inspector.

Hi @petite24021989 ,

The solution is not straightforward (and also it is not possible to delete empty groups using API!) Please check this video:

Dear @okapawal please add the possibility to delete the empty groups in the table as it implemented for load records:

Yes, it is a good suggestion.

Or maybe better solution would be to remove empty groups automatically by the program as they are not displayed in the dialog nor inspector?

Some simple methods to delete empty groups should be available. At least to do it using API.

Hi @okapawal ,

Thanks for fixing this bug. Now empty groups are visible in the Object Inspector and can be deleted from there. However, it seems that the group (empty or with elements) cannot be deleted using API. I mean that the required method is still not implemented.
