RC beams supports

Hi,

I'm transferring rc beams from model to provided reinforcement module, but the linking tool is not recognizing some columns as supports. The beams are connected to the columns by rigid links (because of eccentricity). I saw in another post you suggested to use dummy columns or dummy supports, but this is a hard work, because of the size of the model (there are many beams and columns with same link condition in model).

I'm not sure, but I think it was possible in older versions to make some changes in settings such that the linking tool recognizes rigid links as supports. Am I right? Is there a way to automate this process of finding rc beams supports?

Robot does not recognize rigid links as RC beam supports while member transfer to Provided reinforcement module.

You can 

- use real bars defined with dummy rigid material instead of rigid links.

or

-select all nodes where beams should be supported and copy them along Z- with drag option on (when column section is active in section dialog) to simulate fictitious dummy short columns supporting beams.

The second one looks better, but I do not understand why we should do that kind of trick for a so common situation. I really don't known any concrete building without at least one eccentricity between beams and columns (and rigid links are almost always used there).

Hey, developers! It's very easy to implement a feature to include rigid links to the list of supports in dialog window.
