Question regarding concrete member displacements

Hi All,

We can quickly select a size and shape, create a column or beam, and then calculate the displacements of the concrete member. While RSA calculates an RC frame's deflections, does it assume a reinforcement in the column or beams? Otherwise, the concrete will crack, and the frame will fail. I am creating the model without providing an RC reinforcement module.

The same thing goes for slabs. We can calculate the required and provided reinforcement and then deflection for both. But when we create columns, beams and slabs and do not open required or provided reinforcement modules, RSA still calculates and shows a deflection shape.

Kindly provide some insight on this.
