Plates and Shells Library not working.

Hi,

 

When I try to make a structure from the Plates and Shells library I am getting the following error as shown in the images below. I did not change any parameter.

What material database have you got set in Job Preferences?

Hi @Anonymous

 

The library structures are text files with predefined material names. If the material name as used in such file doesn't exist in the selected material database the syntax of the text file is not recognized therefore for the Canadian settings you need to add CONCR to the list of materials to be able to open the library model type you selected and as such name exist in the American material database the file was opened wit no error reported.

Thank you very much Artur, 

Now it make sense. However my suggestion for future improvement is to make the file that generate the shell structure read the material from the job preferences.

Which translating into the 'developer' language stands for replacing the text files with binary ones . Already submitted ;-).
