Overlapping panels and isolated nodes

Hi

I have a model of a bridge which seems to work, still i get 2 warnings - overlapped panels and isolated nodes.

When investigated the overlapped panels it seems fine, can see any error. I've also tried to reduce model tolerances with no effect.

Checking the contour definition seems alright as well. And mesh is fine.

Similar a have warning, with isolated nodes. When clicking on the warning, no nodes are presented.

Can anybody help to get rid of the warning.

I think i tried every thing i could fine online on the forum.

Thanks

Regards

Hi @SMVZWDPY

Your model is somehow corrupted.

You have 719000 nodes and 425000 is corrupted.

Try to open file in repair mode, remove meshes, remove remaining nodes and mesh it properly = with reasonable number of nodes \ finite elements.

Hi Rafal

Thanks for the quick reply!

I'm working on implementing your suggestions.

When i run your model I still get isolated node and parameters of the material used in object are different from parameters defined in preferences? How to get rid of them?

How do you identify the duplicated panels?

and that the file was corrupted with the nodes?

Another thing:

How did you reduce the file size so much? and get the mesh to work with so few elements?

Did you need to mesh it in parts?.

Hi Again

I got it to work, following your guidelines!

However, now my planar-load wan't work as it did before?

What can be the problem? I defined the load in a area on the panels? No warning/error when model is runned, but there is no results for the loadcase.

Hi @SMVZWDPY

I guess You are talking about load case 11.

Load defined there has no value in any direction = all load values are equal to 0.

For example change PZ1 PZ2 PZ3 values in load table to see effect.
