H guys, I need help aligning these two beams at the top. I tried different variations, but haven't managed to do so myself. Anyone could help please?

Indeed it was. Is there a better way to do this?

Thank you. I'm trying to simulate "a notch" in a beam. I created two sections, offset them and "joined the two members" into one "segmented beam". I'm not quite sure I chose the best method. Bending moment and shear forces, all look good to me.
