New Section Addition to section data base / Circular section problem

Hello,

I want to add new sections that I use usually to the user section data base.

The sections are parametric section, so all what I need is the determine the dimensions.

I have added two types of sections: (Rectangular and circular).

  • When I call for rectangular section, I found that the names are inverted "Thickness x width      instead of   width x Thickness"
  • When I call for the circular cross section, I found that only the name is saved, but the section properties and shape are not saved !!!!

Please find attached screen shot to clarify the case for you.

Thanks in advance for help.

I do not see it or I do not understand it.

Additionaly see this help topic about naming convention:

Send us your user database and *.sec file of any of your C section.

Dear,

Please find attached files.

Please note that I am defining a parametric section, so I donott need to draw it. All what I need is to determine the dimension.

Edit database and change SHAPE_TYPE onto 44 for solid circular sections ; then restart robot (and reload sections from database if required)

But Robot is expected to take the section automatically,

Yes. We need to correct it.
