please help me out, its urgent.

I have finished modelling and am having mesh issues with clouding. do I suppose to assign thickness to the clouding? see attachment

Hi chris,

I'm not sure what help you need - is it to solve meshing issues? It seems like you missed the file.

As I can't see the file:

1. Faces - most likely you have no load applied to some cladding

2. Incoherent meshes - Try to run detailed model correction to structural axes

correction to structural axes1.PNG

3. Kinematic constrains

Make sure you have marked iterative adjustment of meshing. You may then decide on use or lack of generation of kinematic constrains

FE mesh has not been generated". what should I do to overcome this? please the file is attached, you can look at it as well for solution.

You missed the file but had you checked that you applied loads to each of the defined claddings?

the file is attached now please.

I have not assign any load to any member of the structure, apart from the self weight of the structural menbers.

thanks.

When as I wrote

1. Faces - most likely you have no load applied to some claddings

you define loads on the claddings this warning will no longer be displayed. In other words if you don't need to apply such loads just ignore it.

Your model clearly has meshing precision problems like ,

mesh problems 1.jpgmesh problems 2.jpg

You should watch the good webinars 1 and 2 about meshing best practices and troubleshooting. On Build your Robot Structural Analysis IQ - YouTube

Use the regular modeler instead of solid one .Unmark it On Tolls/job preferences/ work parameters

@Anonymous Hi Chris, As you created another topic for load application I'd like to ask you if we may consider your meshing problem as solved and if so would you mind to accept Rafael's post as the solution so that others could find it faster?
