Incoherent Mesh on edges and distorted elements

Hi,

I have various incoherent meshing edges in the attached model, is there a better way to avoid / fix these?

Also I have a distorted element message that refers to an element that doesn't exist....

Correctly meshed model : http://we.tl/Izm5SShPQd

Check meshing options in it.

Yes it does exist.

it´s on panel number 1736 . It´s so tiny  ,it is very hard to find . But setting to display its number it becomes clearly visible with " display atributes only to selected objects".

Model has imprecisions. That´s the cause of so many mesh incoherences. Correcting these imprecisions will also make the distorted element disappear.

Thanks,

I really don't know how to avoid these imprecisions... I model using dwgs, and always snap to end points only. I snap to a point and then snap to the same point and end up with two different locations... Is there a way of increasing the accuracy or asking the software to assume that points within a cirtain proximity are the same point.

Hi Timo121,

You could use the detailed correction tool for this purpose (Edit>Detailed Correct). See snaphot.
