Hi,

I have analysed a portal frame and want to know the exact point of inflection.

I have tried using tables but no luck.

Any suggestions

Thanks

Andrey

Select the bar you want , goto Results/Detailed analysis

Then on the detailed analysis dialog window that pops up , select the force you want detailed and the diagram will show up . Goto the "division points" tab , select characterisc points  and click on refresh and they will show up on this dialog and also on the table below the diagram.

Same results can be achieved on table format . Just click on division points , characteristic points and refresh

Hi @andrey

You can view the results for a specific member by selecting 'Object Properties'.

Thanks for getting back to me quickly. This is all useful.

I was after an overlay which was in the solution above to find the inflection points.

But this is also quick and useful.
