MY RC BEAMS ARE NOT CONNECTED TO THE RC COLUMNS

Hello, 

I am designing reinforcements for RC building, however, I realized in the design part that although I made all my beams simply supported systems by running them from column to column, the software is making it look like overhanged beams. So I run to alot of problems of deflection. Also its not all the beams that have this problem, but many.

How could I make the beam coonect to the column?

The attached is how my beam looks like in the model and how diffrent it looks like in the reinforcement design.

Anyone help, please?

Before you run the beam, go to "support' and verify

At the support tab, check where you want to have support
