How to figure out either structure is safe or not

I designed the structure.

But i want to analysis which part is dangerous.

What is next?

This is a simple question but the answer is not simple. Not sure if you are asking in the context of using Robot to identify the pass/failure elements ? If this is the case, then wait for other Robot experts. I'm sure you can conduct code checking with Robot (if the codes you are using are available).

Otherwise, to answer your question in the conventional structural engineering way would be as follows:

1. check correctness of your model, e.g.

- input (loads) vs output (reactions), e.g. equilibrium checking

- warning especially for instabilities, etc.

2. code checking. Most codes will require to check for both strength and stability, e.g. response limit under lateral loads, etc. You will need to ensure that your design complies with relevant code requirements.

3. having a peer review by your senior/experienced engineers.

Hope this helps.

@98chaek2

At first glance some vertical and horizontal bracing are missing

If I'm doing that, I will do the ff;

1. Model in 2D the worst bay

2. Put all the loads(DL,LL,Wind/EQ, load combinations to applicable codes)

3. Check lateral deflection.

    3.1 Eurocode,ie, L/300(lateral deflection)

    3.2 American Code(ACI),check for seismic drift

If your vertical and lateral deflection due to SLS load combination(DL/LL/wind) is within the applicable codes, you are ok.

Then, you can proceed in modelling it in 3D and designing structural members.

Hope this helps.

This is the first step of the project.

So I want to make a simple model first.

After I figure out how to analyze, I will make clamps.

So...

Is there any function to see a shape of model's deformation if i use the student program?
